Obama, Bush (Laura), Cheney and Powell Appear in Commercial Promoting Same-Sex ‘Marriage’
Yes, the world has changed since I was a boy, when divorce, having children outside marriage, use of illegal drugs, alcoholism, pornography and other things we celebrate today, we considered just causes of deep shame and guilt, and were rejected by all decent, God fearing people. Now we have gay legislators and if there is any truth to the rumors, a bi-sexual president, at least one aggressively pro-gay, pro-abortion and through them the spirit of anti-Christ rules our country.
Christians and even most non-Christian faiths believe that nothing will ever make these sins okay, but now is the time of anti-Christ and evil is ruling this world. Not that evil has not taken hold in many places and in most hearts throughout human history; but, IMO it is uniquely blatant and mainstream thought today, even corrupting many falsely called Christian churches. So, gay marriage will without much doubt become the law of the land, even if the Supreme Court rules in favor of Proposition 8 this year. Note: I expect it to be a mushy decision offering no clarity issued by a cowardly court.
America has already been judged by Almighty and is falling into an economic and moral abyss and the people in this commercial and all those supporting homosexuality as being normal and gay marriage being a right, will, unrepentant, face His Judgment as well and suffer everlasting torments. Such a high and horrible price to be politically stylish and for having embraced this moral cancer.
A new commercial promoting same-sex marriage is set to feature comments from Barack Obama, former First Lady Laura Bush, former Vice President Dick Cheney and former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
The advertisement is produced by the Respect for Marriage Coalition, which is co-chaired by the Human Rights Campaign, and is part of a million-dollar effort that also includes print advertising in Politico, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. It features clips of past comments from various political leaders in an attempt to demonstrate that both Democrats and Republicans support homosexual “marriage.”
“None of us would want to be told that we can’t marry the person that we love,” the ad begins, showing men and women embracing each other. “That’s why a growing number of Americans believe that it’s time to allow marriage for gay and lesbian couples.”
“When couples are committed, then I think they ought to have the same sort of rights that everyone has,” former First Lady Laura Bush states in the next clip, which is taken from a 2010 interview with talk show host Larry King.
“Allowing them to live together with the protection of law — it seems to me to be the way we ought to be moving in this country,” says former Secretary of State Colin Powell in another clip from CNN.
“Freedom means freedom for everyone,” comments former Vice President Dick Cheney in a snippet lifted from his speech at the 2009 National Press Club.
The advertisement then concludes with Barack Obama’s address during his inauguration last month.
